Giveaway: Natures Paradise “Baby Organic” Skincare

February 15, 2009

natures-paradise-baby-organicsWhat goes on the skin, goes in to the body and although skincare products were never intended to go inside the body, we now know that topical products do pass through the skin and into your blood stream and organs. Now more than ever, it is important to protect baby and children’s developing nervous and immune systems with safe quality baby skin care.

We were delighted to try out the Natures Paradise “Baby Organics” line because they are one of the very few companies who have taken the initiative to capture 100% USDA Certified Organic seal. The Baby Organic line comes in unscented or coconut (just like a vacation) and is every bit as good as we expected it to be.

So what makes this brand different from other brands that are labeled “organic?”

Exerpt From Natures Paradise:  When you buy product, look for: “Certified Organic by *****agency.”  The certifying Agency must ALWAYS be printed on the back according to regulations. If a product claiming to be o”organic” does not have a certifiers name, then this product has NOT been certified or inspected by the USDA.

A product that is USDA Certified Organic means that it is the safest product you can buy. It is not made with any chemical or synthetic ingredients. This is great news for parents who choose to use the safest possible products on their babies.

Coupon: Natures Paradise is offering a %15 discount to OBP101 readers! Just enter the code: 101 into the Promotion code box at checkout.

WIN: Natures Paradise is generously offering a Baby Organic Gift Basket to one of our readers. ( A total of $54.99 of product)

Emily February 16, 2009 at 4:52 pm

the best time of day is hard to choose, so many things make different times special but I would say one of my favorite times is picking her up from daycare, she is sooo excited to see me and I know I get the rest of the evening with her.

ellie February 16, 2009 at 5:00 pm

this is a tough one because i cherish so many moments with her. but nursing time before bed is consistently one of the most soothing experiences with her. i love to cuddle her in my arms while rocking and singing to her with lights dimmed.
then again, in the morning right after she wakes up she is in such a happy, playful mood. i can’t get enough of her gurgles and squeals and increasingly toothy smiles.
thanks for this great giveaway!

My favorite time with Ella is when she first wakes up in the morning…she is such a morning baby…all smiles and laughter …and SO happy to see me. She starts kicking and clapping her hands as soon as she hears my voice . It just warms my heart :-)

I love going to my kids after their morning naps they’re always standing in their cribs clapping when I come and saying bye bye because they know we go for a walk then.

The middle of the mornig, after we’ve had breakfast. Depending on the weather or season, we spend a lot of time outside. I love walking with them or gardning.

my favorite time is afternoon, LUNCH then a stroll

Heather February 16, 2009 at 6:18 pm

My favorite time of day is after my 7-month-old wakes up from his morning nap. I love to peek into his room to see his wide eyes waiting for me to walk in to pick him up. He’s so cuddly after his nap that we almost always end up snuggling in bed for awhile before joining the rest of the world downstairs.

I would say my favorite time with my little one is when she first wakes up. She is always smiling, and happy as long as she has her morning bottle, she’s great!

Allison February 16, 2009 at 6:31 pm

Snuggle time right before bed with my 3 year old. Not only have I made it through another day, but it warms my heart when she says, “Mommy, there are some things we need to talk about…”

Favorite time of day with my baby daughter is right before she goes to sleep. She’s bathed and calm after having a bottle and just rocking with her is so very very lovely. Favorite time of day with my almost 6 year old is early morning. It’s a great time of day to chat and catch up

the best time for me is the evening, just before bedtime and a story

Teri February 16, 2009 at 7:43 pm

First thing in the morning, I hear her on the monitor, and I sneek in to get her. She turns her sleepy face to meet mine, and gets the biggest grin! She gets all excited as I pick her up. We snuggle and do a little dance around the room, as I enhale her beautiful baby smell.

Jennifer Jozwiak February 16, 2009 at 8:17 pm

I’m not sure since I haven’t had my LO yet! But since she loves to kick up a storm late at night I’m guessing that’s her favorite time haha!

With my 9 month old, I treasure the early morning nursing, feeling her soft little hand touch my lips and face and hair while we watch the sun rise. With my toddler boy, I love to wrestle and play and snuggle with him during his sister’s nap. I treasure the time I get to focus on just them.

Caterina February 17, 2009 at 5:46 am

My favorite time of day with my babies is bath time and bed time. They have so much fun in the bath. When they come out they feel so calm and relaxed. We read our favorite bed time stories and snuggle in bed together.
